McCain has committed political suicide

So, McCain picked Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska, to be his vice president.
I'm assuming he's hoping to pull the female democratic vote away from Barack but... the whole reason those women wanted Hilary was because she had good issues to back her up. This cougar wants to drill for oil wherever she can find it and believes we should be teaching creationism in schools (not to mention she's a card-carrying NRA member).

I guess McCain has really decided he can't win and wants to try to go down in a flaming ball of failure and defeat as soon as possible.
